COIL SPRING TECHNOLOGY

ERBThe rapid response of the coil spring is what gives the ERB the energy return near the end of your power stroke. The vanadium steel spring coupled to the stainless steel cable is like the heart of the Energy Return System. These springs are the same as those used in industries where springs are required to respond hundreds of thousands and into the millions of cycles under extremely heavy loads. That means your spring will literally last you FOREVER. Not only does the spring return energy, it is also what controls the amount of travel in the suspension and what continually pulls the wheels back to the ground quickly after slamming bumps .


COMPOSITE ROD TECHNOLOGY


ERBThe precisely machined Composite rods allow the frame to flex slightly up and down helping the bike maintain traction and smoothing the ride. The amount of wheel travel amounts to a maximum of about one inch. Fastened side by side the two incredibly resilient and durable rods work together to resist frame twist. As you can see there is only a short portion of the rods exposed between the front and rear sections of the frame. Consequently, the bottom bracket on the ERB has about the same bottom bracket stiffness as those on many rigid titanium frames.
